The second in the series of planned Town Hall Meeting and Results Fair came off at the Ashanti Regional capital of Kumasi.
The event, put together by the Ministries of Information and Monitoring and Evaluation, is to afford the people, the opportunity to interact with their Ministries, Departments and Agencies and more importantly, Metropolitan and District Assemblies on the implementation of numerous flagship projects and programmes. This interaction will elicit feedback from the public and ultimately enhance good governance in our democratic dispensation.

The Ashanti Regional Town Hall Meeting and Results Fair had 47 Metropolitan and District Assemblies as well as 17 Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) exhibiting various government projects and programmes.
The hugely attended 2-day event was graced by H. E the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and other Ministers of State.

As the Guest Speaker, the Vice President gave an overview of the economic gains of the country as well as the efforts by the Government to further deepen the fortunes of the country going forward.
The 2-day event which came off at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s (KNUST) Great Hall attracted over 4,000 people.
